Ever received a forward about the things guys should know about girls? i have. were they cute? definitely. And what about guys being nice and sweet? i haven't ever received a forward giving guys credit for anything. we all know what it is an endless battle between guys and girls as to whose fault it is that a relationship didn't work out. its a continuous ball game. why we have it, god alone knows! come to think of it, i feel we only do it to pass time.
so, anyways. the debate still remains as to who is right and who is wrong, right? i have never heard a guy's views on a break-up or a rough patch. what can i do if they want to maintain the macho image, mysterious and quiet, not saying anything about what happened! i often hear how inattentive guys are, how they are so confused, never expressive, yada, yada, yada... i have said so myself on more than one occasion. but, give them the benefit of the doubt. just because they don't open their mouths and say anything, as infuriating as it maybe, may be for some of their own reasons.
do we ever take time to think that we are demanding too much from them? one day we are falling all over their charm and charisma and the next we complain about those very things that once appeased us. the only thing a girl ever wants is to be loved. sounds so simple, doesn't it? and what about the guy? we are forever trying to change them, when we fall for that exact thing we fall for. why? are they some kind of toy that we can mend as per our whims and fancies? we always hear the girl's side. of course. they are more than happy to divulge the details. but what about what the guys go through? do we pay any heed at all to them? any relationship is as difficult for a guy as it is for a girl. guys have their won demons to fight.
when can we ever end this debate - who is right? the girl or the boy? who is to blame? whose fault is it? have we ever thought of listening out to each other and actually trying to understand each other, keeping our egos aside? that is a question we each need to ask ourselves and incorporate into our lives, for any relationship to be a success, dont you think? or we will all just end up fighting all the time. what a mockery of the whole institution of love!! :(
